SVX Mexico purpose is to partner with, and support businesses that make possible the transition of local producers to regenerative, biodiverse, resilient, and self-sufficient practices. We focus on the productive transition to regenerative practices, ecosystem regeneration, and climate adaptation. Through equity investments that offer a structured exit, we will support companies that are committed to implementing nature-based solutions and contribute to the regeneration of Mexican ecosystems. Some of the sectors and activities we consider are the following: – Sustainable agriculture and value-added food production – Sustainable forestry, forest products, and nature tourism – Development of markets for ecosystem services like carbon credits, financial inclusion for small producers, and biodiversity conservation.

SVX Mexico is a renowned women-led impact investment advisory firm working in Mexico and Latin America, and is a partner in Sustainable Landscapes Ventures, a USAID-funded project implemented by Conservation International and a consortium of partners. The project develops sustainable and inclusive value chains at scale, that are market driven, and investment ready in three landscapes in Mexico: Chiapas, Oaxaca, and the Yucatan Peninsula. The project iclude the Blended Finance Engine component, a space for coordination between diverse entities that solves the financing barriers of the rural sector and provides diverse services to producers, buyers, and investors. It is led by the strategic partner SVX MX in coordination with CI Ventures, the impact investment arm of CI.
